Using CST Scores To Analyze Student Success Or Need For More Instruction
- click on "CST Cluster Scores" (left-hand side about 1/2 down page)
- choose appropriate options
- under "Summary Options", check as many boxes as you would like, (in
addition to "individual scores", the "school summary", & "state
summary" are very helpful)check out the option "display summary charts"
- check out the option "Show cluster proficiency range color coding"

LOOK FOR PATTERNS of achievement, LOOK FOR unexpected items such as one low score amid other high scores, etc.

Creating Answer Sheets, Having System Scan & Grade Answer Sheets, & Create Reports on Results

click on "Data Director Help" in upper right corner

expand the "exams" option

click on "How to create an exam to store, score, and report data", and
follow steps to create your standards-aligned answer sheet

go back to the help menu, and again, under the "exams" option, click on
"How to print answer sheets" and follow the steps in the handout
