Fusion - striving to make teaching and learning more personal and to provide students and staff with more of a family and community-oriented learning environment, Paradise High School has developed a small learning community called Fusion.
Students in the community are linked together for three classes each year with music or technology as the focus of the curriculum.
Fusion is based on the principle that students learn better and develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum by developing personal relationships with their instructors.
Fusion applies academic rigor to its program. Students have a chance to learn skills to help promote their success in the music and technology industries. |

| Paradise High School does not discriminate in any of its programs and
all interested ninth graders are encouraged to apply for participation
in Fusion. You do not need experience with music or technology to
apply, just a love for music! |
|
Students selected to the program are required to adhere to the following
program policies:
- Students are placed in the program based on an application and
if accepted will remain in the program for an entire school year. An
administrator must approve any exception.
- Because this is a rigorous and specialized program, students are
expected to exhibit exemplary work habits, positive behavior and strive
for excellence in each assignment.
- Students who are struggling as demonstrated by lower grades than
a "C" in any program course may be required to attend tutoring classes.
